4th SJE Arts Next Generation Series

The SJE Arts Next Generation Series is our way of helping young musicians to make their way in the world. Started three years ago, performances  have been inspirational – bursting with talent, enthusiasm and above all, optimism. We look forward to many more in the future.

The 4th Series opens in February with a first-time visit by the Royal College of Music’s Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir presenting a programme of works by Bach, father and son. In March, we’re delighted to have super-talented saxophonist Jess Gillam and her accompanist Zeynep Özsuca back with us and in June, we welcome SANSARA along with viola de gamba player, Liam Byrne, for an exploration of Les Voix Humaines. The final concert is not until December but it will be worth the wait: of the five musicians in newly formed Cassadó Ensemble three belong to the Kanneh-Mason family.
